The Midland High School Class of 1977 will hold its 35th year reunion the weekend of June 29-July 1, 2012. Join us for a fun-filled, enjoyable time that will allow you to catch up with classmates and renew old friendships. Check out all the class reunion happenings on either our website or Facebook page.
Friday nightJune 29th- meet at the Boulevard Lounge around 8:00 pm for an informal hello and to get reacquainted. There is also a Loons game on Friday evening @ 7:05 pm.
Saturday afternoon June 30th -Midland High School Open House from 1-2 pm. Stop by and see the old stomping grounds! Do you remember where your locker was located and/or your locker combination?
Saturday eveningJune 30th- Class Reunion @ the H Hotel. Festivities start @ 7:30 pm. Dress is casual. Ticket price includes: Heavy hors d'oeuvre s, cash bar, DJ, awards, and trivia. Our own classmate-Bruce Hart -will be selecting the musical entertainment!
Sunday evening July 1st-catch the "Loons", the professional Minor League Baseball Team in town. Game time starts @ 7:05 pm. Click Here to order tickets.
Reservations must be made in advance. I'll acknowledge all reservations as well as post a"who's coming" list so that you know which of your friends are coming... or need "persuasion." We need at least 100 folks to attend to just to break even. The cost to attend the gathering on Saturday evening is $45.00/person. It pays for rotating selections of hors d'oeuvre s, our DJ, awards, decorations, and rental of space. I've set up an on line payment method which has a small transaction fee ($1.75/ea). While I may have some wiggle room for procrastinators, I do have a hard cutoff date with the hotel for numbers. Reservations need to be made by June 20, 2012. Call me, or any committee member if specific issues.
I keep a large database that allows us to create a booklet, emails lists, geographical sorts, etc which I would prefer not to have to hand edit. Please use our narrative form and let me at least copy and paste. If you want to see what you wrote on your last submission, I can send you an html form with content that you can update. I will reluctantly accept paper notes and try to find the time to enter them by hand but even an email beats this. Narratives are needed by June 20, 2012.
Your participation is needed to make this event a success. Take out your yearbook, call some friends, correspond by email, and help make this a successful reunion. Let everyone know! If you know someone who did not get a reservation mailing by April 1st, then I probably don't have their address. Share the news!
